Large cast steel grinding discs are accessories used in cement production lines. Due to harsh working environments and prolonged operation, they suffer severe wear and need to be replaced with new ones. The primary function of the grinding disc is to support the material bed and transmit the force generated by the grinding rollers to the lower gearbox. It also transmits the torque from the gearbox to the grinding area, so it requires wear resistance, high hardness, crack resistance, and uniform stress distribution.
Before casting the grinding disc, the cast steel manufacturer simulates the pouring process using computer simulation software based on the drawings provided by the customer and the working environment. Then, a customized processing plan is designed, requiring the workshop to strictly follow the casting process and control every step.
