This product is a large stern tube casting for ships, manufactured using ZG240-480 high-strength cast steel. It has achieved a maximum rated capacity of 28 tons. The product undergoes a heat treatment process of normalizing plus tempering to refine the grain structure and eliminate internal stresses. This results in excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, enhancing microstructural stability. During manufacturing, magnetic particle testing (MT) is strictly applied to stress concentration zones (such as radii) to ensure flawless surface and near-surface quality. As a critical structural component of the ship's propulsion system, this stern tube provides robust assurance for the long-term stable operation of the vessel's power system.
